You will reach the island’s main port, Marina Grande, by fast ferry. As the primary entry point to the island, this bustling harbor is filled with arriving ships and offers lovely views of moored sailing vessels. Here, you will find tourist information, buses, and the funicular (cable car) that connects to the upper town, “La Piazzetta.”


Weather and sea conditions permitting, you will take a convertible car or shuttle bus to your first destination: the world-famous Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra).
